🕯️ "Will future ages believe that such stupid bigotry ever existed?"Walter Scott

I asked this not with irony, but with heartbreak.

I lived in a time of great art and deeper ignorance—when men who praised poetry still spat hatred. When the brilliance of the mind was dimmed by the blindness of prejudice.

I hoped future generations would shake their heads in disbelief. That one day, such bigotry would seem impossible. A relic. A shame buried by progress.

But here you are.

And the question remains: Will your age break the cycle?

📍 Bigotry hasn’t vanished. It’s evolved. It wears new clothes—coded in algorithms, chanted at rallies, whispered through screens. It twists logic and weaponizes suffering. It convinces the poor to vote against their own dignity, just to preserve illusions of supremacy.

In America, some of the most vulnerable reject health care, education, and rights—not because it helps them, but because it hurts others. They’ve been taught to fear equity as loss. To mistake oppression for tradition.

This isn’t stupidity. It’s strategy. Bigotry, fueled by fear, still blooms.

💡 So what do we do?

1️⃣ Be Intolerant of Intolerance.
2️⃣ Learn and Teach Real History.
3️⃣ Elevate the Silenced.
4️⃣ See Humanity First.
5️⃣ Pass Empathy Forward.

Let this generation be the one that future ages look back on with pride—not disbelief.

Let it be said of you: they remembered, they resisted, and they rebuilt.

✍️ Let it be written: Bigotry ended with us.
