The United States of America is not a democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic. The words democracy, democratic and democrat do not appear even once in the Founding Documents. It was good right up until that word was uttered.

Just so you know, George Washington should sound like us. The English started their accent differentiation during the industrial revolution to distance themselves from people who didn’t have money.

Hmmm…he said they formed a “democracy” when in fact, they did not. They formed a Republic, the difference is as wide as the grand canyon and is one of the largest ills of the US. People think the difference is almost nil, when they couldn't be further opposite from one another.
